The European Union has launched a smart clothing development project through cloud computing wearable technology at the German Artificial Intelligence Research Center. The project is called “EASY-IMP” and cloud computing collaborative development of smart wearable Meta products was launched in September this year.
According to a statement issued by DFKI, this type of clothing is a typical example of providing a common platform from which various applications can be downloaded. Part of this concept is already being used in Easy-IMP smart clothing, which can be detected by a smartphone or combined with the user’s important data to configure the clothing for the customer. At the same time, the system will be connected to cloud services to facilitate data sharing for use in social networks. Smart clothing will be used in sports, medicine and other fields.
