1. Does the fabric itself have any other special finishing, such as softness, stiffness, flame retardant, etc.?
2. Effect of impurities:
(1) Impurities in the fabric itself: There will be small impurities such as cotton seeds on the cotton cloth surface, while the impurities on the surface of chemical fibers will be relatively less, mainly trace amounts of oil substances left over from post-processing;
(2) Foreign impurities: mainly refers to the additives added to the fabric during pre-treatment, dyeing, etc. that remain on the surface of the fabric.
3. Process recipe test:
(1) Select additives: Regarding how to choose additives for waterproofing, it mainly depends on the customer’s requirements, the condition of the fabric and the customer’s existing process equipment;
(2) Dosage: Confirm through testing the appropriate amount to achieve the waterproofing effect required by the customer;
(3) Craftsmanship: Many customers have reported that the waterproofing effect is OK when tested in the laboratory, but the reproducibility of the waterproofing effect on a large machine becomes low. So, when this kind of situation occurs, we mainly start from the baking effect. The baking effect is nothing more than temperature, time and the thermal efficiency of the equipment; whether it is a large machine or a small laboratory equipment, the thermal efficiency cannot be adjusted and can only be adjusted from Start with temperature and time; fix the temperature and extend the time, or keep the time constant and increase the temperature.
