所谓负离子整理就是将一种特定的超细微粉材料作用到织物上的工艺。负离子整理出现在20世纪末的Et本。目的是在穿着这种织物时形成一个模拟大自然中的空气清新的环境。在负离子发生材料中研究多的是电气石。电气石是一种成分与结构极为复杂的天然矿石。其主要成分A1203和Si2是绝缘体,为半导体Fe203、TiO2、B205等的载体,因此可以看作复合半导体材料。电气石微粒正极上的电子一接触到水分子就瞬间放电,将水分子分解成H+和OH-。H+被电气石释放的复电子中和形成氢原子以气体形式放出;OH-与水分子结合形成水合羟基离子(H302)-,即负离子。
