I. Preface

2. Required samples and equipment
1. Sample
1.1 BASF coating additive:
Lulecoat CCG/CCM/CCT (CCG is the base coated finished slurry, CCM is the medium coated finished slurry, and CCT is the top coated finished slurry).
Degu SN-S (chelating dispersant)
1.2 Other additives:
Ammonium stearate (foam stabilizing agent)
Diammonium hydrogen phosphate (reducing viscosity)
Ammonia water (pH value adjustment, ammonium stearate assisted in the solution)
2. Equipment: coating machine (oven length 25m), bubbler (homemade), mixer
3. Base cloth sample: TC cloth, about 60 meters
3. Sample technology
1. Total process: semi-product base slurry drying medium slurry drying top slurry drying baking crosslinked finished products
Drying temperature:
Oilbox first grid oven second grid oven third grid oven 4th grid oven, 5th grid oven
Temperature 80℃ 90℃ 100℃ 220℃ 120℃
Baking temperature: 150–160℃, 2.5min
Speed speed: 15 m/min
2. Slurry mixing:
Slurry mixing process: add the finished slurry and stir à add diammonium hydrogen phosphate à add ammonium stearate à add SN-Sà add ammonium water
Formula:
Lulecoat 50kg
/> 150g ammonium stearate (dissolved to 30% concentration and then added, and add ammonia water)
100g diammonium phosphate (dissolved to 25% concentration and then added)
Adjust amount of ammonia water (adjust pH = 9)
IV. Problems and Summary
1. The foaming machine is a homemade manual product, with unstable performance, poor foaming quality, wasted a lot of slurry, and time-consuming cleaning. It needs to be improved, that is, add a valve at the bubble outlet to adjust the flow rate, increase the foaming force, and improve the foaming quality. It is recommended that they buy a new automatic foaming machine.
2. After drying, rolling is required, because the rolling roll is too small and the rolling force is not enough. It is recommended to use Teflome treatment on the surface of the roll.
3. The volume on the coating knife is relatively small and the bubble load capacity is insufficient.
4. It is difficult to dissolve ammonium stearate, and it takes a certain amount of time to stir the slurry.
5. The overall effect is satisfactory to the naked eye.
