On December 20, Wang Linbing, member of the Standing Committee of the Lixin County Party Committee and deputy county magistrate, investigated the development of the textile and apparel industry in Lixin County. Li Jun, director of the County Economic and Information Bureau, accompanied the investigation. County Magistrate Wang has successively conducted on-site visits and surveys to enterprises such as Hanlian Color Textile, Jingwei Clothing, Pelliot Outdoor Equipment Co., Ltd., Junhan Textile, and Fuya Yarn.
During the investigation, County Magistrate Wang had a detailed understanding of the company’s project construction, production operations, per-acre benefits, labor needs and existing difficulties. The heads of relevant companies introduced the production and operation-related work of their respective companies.
County Magistrate Wang pointed out that the textile and apparel industry in Lixin County has great potential for development and strong industrial driving force. It is a traditional industry and a sunrise industry. It is necessary to seize the opportunity, take advantage of the situation, make full use of the industrial base, and vigorously develop the light textile and apparel industry. Faced with the current problem of “labor shortage” faced by enterprises, County Magistrate Wang took on-site work, contacted the county radio and television station in a timely manner, and filmed corporate recruitment videos to increase the company’s awareness rate. At the same time, enterprises are encouraged to strengthen ties with vocational schools and vigorously carry out school-enterprise cooperation, which not only allows students to go out of campus, but also solves the problem of employment difficulties in enterprises.
County Magistrate Wang requested that the relationship between development and safety production should be coordinated. Light textile clothing are all flammable products. Safety production should be tightened at all times, the frequency of daily inspections should be increased, and timely inspections should be carried out in a timely manner. Eliminate various potential safety hazards and ensure safe and orderly production and operation.
