The performance indicators of filter materials include: air permeability, breaking strength, tensile strength, fiber diameter, unit weight, graded dust removal efficiency, etc.
The ptfe coated filter material has incomparable advantages in the above aspects that other filter materials cannot match.
Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) is commonly known as the “King of Plastics”. Its special molecular structure makes it invulnerable to all poisons (it does not change when boiled in aqua regia), and it can work for a long time at -190~250℃ , widely used in environmental protection, sealing, aerospace and other fields.
PTFE microporous membrane is made of polytetrafluoroethylene as raw material, which is expanded and stretched to form a microporous film.
The microstructure of the microporous membrane is as shown below. It can be seen that the size of the micropores is at the micron level and is evenly distributed.
The microporous membrane is laminated to the filter base material through a special process to form a PTFE coated filter material. After cutting and sewing, it can be processed into a filter bag.
At present, there are two methods of compounding PTFE coated filter materials: glue compounding and thermal compounding.
1. Glue composite is a relatively elementary composite method with low composite strength, easy to peel off, and short service life. Due to the penetration of glue, it has poor air permeability and is not suitable for dust cleaning, which weakens the superior performance of PTFE.
2. Thermal composite advanced composite method completely maintains the superior performance of PTFE film, but has strict requirements for thermal composite technology.
Suzhou New Material Technology Co., Ltd. is a manufacturer specializing in the R&D and production of PTFE composite materials. After years of painstaking research and R&D, the company not only has strong R&D strength, complete testing methods and domestic advanced experimental equipment , and attracted a large number of outstanding technical talents.
