Wool fabric wet finishing equipment – wool washing machine
The function of the wool washing machine is to use cleaning fluid to wash away the oil and dirt on the wool fabric to make it clean, obtain a soft and full feel, and ensure the smooth progress of subsequent finishing such as coloring. The fabric is continuously squeezed and relaxed during the washing process, so it also has a certain shrinking effect.
There are two types of commonly used woolen washing machines: rope-shaped and open-width woolen washing machines. Figure 11-1 and Figure 11-2 show rope-shaped and open-width woolen washing machines respectively.
11 Rope-shaped wool washing machine
Rope-shaped wool washing machine is a kind of wool washing equipment that is currently used more commonly. It is an intermittent wool washing machine. It is mainly composed of washing tank, roller, cloth guide roller, dividing frame and sewage hopper. The washing tank is made of stainless steel and is used to store washing liquid and billet. There are two rollers, upper and lower. The upper roller is a passive roller and the lower roller is a driving roller. The fabric is squeezed when passing through the nip point between the two rollers, which plays the role of washing. The dividing frame is used to separate the running cloth to prevent the cloth from getting tangled together during the washing process. The dividing frame is connected to the automatic stop device, which can stop the washing machine when the woolen material is tangled. The sewage hopper is installed under the roller, and its function is to add detergent to the machine and collect sewage. When adding detergent, open the feed opening; when rinsing the cloth, close the water inlet under the sewage hopper so that the sewage squeezed out of the cloth can be discharged from the sewage outlet pipe.
The advantages of the rope washing machine are strong cleaning ability, good effect, high output and mild milling effect. The disadvantage is that the wool fabric is prone to creases, so the rope washing machine is generally used for finishing woolen and medium-thick worsted wool fabrics.
21 Open-width washing machine
The structure of the open-width washing machine is roughly the same as that of the rope washing machine. The difference is that after the ring-shaped woolen blank is flattened by the tension roller, it passes through three rollers in an open-width state. The two rolling points of the padding car are dropped into the washing tank by the guide rollers, and then come out of the machine after being dipped in liquid, padded and washed.
The advantages of the open-width washing machine are that the fabrics are washed evenly, the fabric shrinks little, there is no lint after washing, the texture is clear, and the hand feel is good and elastic. However, the washing efficiency of open-width cloth washing machines is low, and the washed cloth does not feel rich enough. Therefore the application is definitely limited.
