The importance of anti-static work clothes has been increasingly valued by relevant national departments. As early as 1989, the catalog of special labor protection supplies was included in the national standard of “anti-static work clothes” (GB12014-1989). The “Standards for Equipping Labor Protection Equipment (Trial)” issued by the State Economic and Trade Commission in 2000 (State Economic and Trade Commission Security [2000] No. 189) clearly requires gas station operators, liquefied petroleum gas tankers and similar types of work to be equipped with anti-static equipment. Work attire. It can be seen from the domestic market in recent years that anti-static workwear is making rapid progress in related industries such as petroleum, chemical industry, coal, military industry, medicine and high dust such as flour, linen spinning, metal grinding and so on. Antistatic fabric is a fabric woven with yarn mixed with conductive fibers or embedded with conductive filaments. Fabrics containing conductive fibers achieve antistatic properties by utilizing the combined effects of electrostatic induction, corona discharge, and leakage of conductors. Usually it can be woven in the weft direction, or it can be woven in the warp direction, or antistatic yarn can be woven in both the warp and weft directions to achieve the effect of antistatic, and the cloth surface appears in a strip or grid shape. The fabric is deeply loved by labor protection apparel companies for its intact color, good feel, wrinkle resistance, easy cleaning, and excellent anti-static performance. According to the comfort of wearing and the requirements of the use environment, there are generally weave specifications such as plain weave, twill weave, yarn card, and straight tribute. According to the customer’s requirements for fabric style, it is divided into normal weaving and reverse weaving. The weight of the fabric per square meter ranges from 110g to 320g, which can meet the needs of work wear in all seasons.
The currently adopted antistatic raw materials mainly include: organic conductive filaments, short fibers and stainless steel fibers. Different raw materials and ratios are selected according to the different antistatic performance requirements of different uses of workwear.
