Nanhai Xiqiao was rated as China’s Maternal and Infant Hygiene Textile Demonstration Base

On June 20, the second enlarged meeting of the fourth session of the China Industrial Textiles Industry Association was held in Shanghai. After voluntary application and expert selection, Nanhai Xiqiao was rated as a demonstration base for Chinese maternal and infant hygiene textiles.

Since Foshan Qisheng Hygiene Products and Guangdong Yusheng Personal Care Products Co., Ltd. settled in Xiqiao, Nanhai in 2012 and 2013, the scale of the sanitary products industry in Xiqiao Town has continued to expand. Currently, there are more than 30 maternal and infant hygiene textile companies in Xiqiao Town, covering the entire industrial chain of production, packaging materials, and equipment manufacturing. In early March, Xiqiao also established a sanitary products industry association.

According to reports, at present, the output value of Xiqiao sanitary products industry exceeds 1.3 billion yuan, and the tax payment exceeds 40 million yuan. Among them, the total investment of two leading sanitary products companies, Guangdong Yusheng Hygiene Products Industry and Foshan Qisheng Hygiene Products, exceeds 1.4 billion yuan. It is expected that in the next few years, the total output value of Xiqiao sanitary products will reach 4 billion yuan, and the production capacity of Xiqiao sanitary products will account for more than 70% of the total production capacity of Foshan.

Today, Nanhai Xiqiao also organized a number of companies in the sanitary products industry to collectively appear at the 2017 China International Nonwoven Materials Exhibition in Shanghai.
