Combing: represents high quality, equivalent to an additional process, which is to draw the combed cotton sliver into a roll, and then further comb it through a combing machine. Semi-fine: represents medium quality. It is actually between carded and combed. This is generally done in textile mills. For example, if 6 drawing lines are combined into one, then 3 of the 6 drawing lines are combed. Cotton slivers, 3 carded cotton slivers, will produce semi-combed yarn. (You can also change the ratio, such as 2 roots and 4 roots, or 4 roots and 2 roots)

Carding: represents low quality, that is, the cotton rolls (blow carding may not be rolled) are passed through the carding machine to remove impurities and short lint, and are made into slivers for the next process (drawing).
