户外布料专家WLGore&Associates发表新的研究,提供非氟化物长效型防泼水(DWR)处理,比起现行氟化物长效型防泼水处理要环保。
以不同的DWR处理来评估Gore-Tex夹克的效能已成为WLGore公司第叁生命週期评估(LifeCycleAssessment,LCA)的一部分,它将在未来做为选择DWR技术的指导。
该研究显示,非氟化DWR处理其防泼水效能较低,是夹克对环境影响大的单一驱力。WLGore表示,以该公司目前的短链聚合物DWR相比,若试图维持防水性在令人满意的水準,则背包客必须对成衣做更频繁的水洗以及重覆做DWR处理。
“良好的DWR处理是非常重要的,这可以防止外套被水浸透,因为身体潮湿会增加重量和不适,并可能导致个人的专注力与体能降低”。
After Gore treated the jacket with different DWR, it was tested and evaluated in LCA scenarios in various outdoor environments in a commonly used way. Gore said that in fact, the currently available non-fluorinated DWR treatments have obvious shortcomings: After a short period of use, it no longer provides effective water resistance. �</p
